I’ve got the problem with SyncML on SonyEricsson P900. In general, it looks
like there’s a mapping problem between SyncML server and database (MySQL).
- When sending contacts from P900 to eGW, these fields are passed OK:
First name
Last Name
Business Phone
Personal Phone
But these fields are lost:
Cell phone
E-mail
I’ve checked syncML logs, P900 sends correct VCARDS.

When sending contacts from eGW to Outlook using eGWOSync, for records
with Last Name but no First Name, it looses the Last Name, so finally there
are no names at all for such contacts.

Moreover, GW->OUTLOOK looses international number sign (+).
When you sync back OUTLOOK -> EGW if you do not put the sign in OUTLOOK by
hand it removes it from EGW.
Issues 1 and 2 look like the mapping problems. Where should I dig to make
sure?
Issue 3 is really annoying for travellers…
