I did try the synthesis client and it work flawlessly for contact synchronization. Even in https.
I think I will put some money out to get this apps because it seems much better than funambol (as least, for now).

Maybe that's the problem. I never tested the funambol palmos client,
because he only speaks http 1.0.
Maybe you should try the synthesis client.
I will try it
Here’s my funambol config :
server URL : http://server/egroupware/rpc.php
username/password : same as egroupware
when I try to synchronize, I get “0-BAD protocol”. In the debug, I get
the
message “You should access this URL only with a SyncML enabled device.”
I looked at the code inside rpc.php and i found that the variable
$_SERVER[‘CONTENT_TYPE’] is always empty. This variable seem to be used
to
validate if it’s a syncml request.
Maybe the client is not sending them. Try forcing the correct value in the
php script(rpc.php).
As I can see in the debug messages on the funambol side, the right content-type is sent. I did some google trying to find information about the variable $_SERVER[‘CONTENT_TYPE’] and this doesn’t seem very documented even on the php web site. Also, I did a print_r on the variable _SERVER just before the content type validation and there is no field containing the CONTENT_TYPE declaration.
thank your for your quick answer.
