SyncML with Nokia 6670 - WORKS! ;-)

Hi!

Just to send back positive feedback: My Nokia 6670 did not work with 1.2-1 and
1.2-2 but since I did an update to 1.2-3 (or maybe 1.2-3-pre from yesterdays’
svn) it suddenly started working and syncs just fine!

PS: The symptoms of “not working” was that the phone sent information to egw;
but no answer was returned or the phone did not understand the answer and
just reported “sync failed”.

Congrats. Looks like i haven’t had much success till now.

I installed the latest from the svn, and tried to sync nokia e61 with
it.

The phone returns connection error/ sync failed.

I am only trying to sync contacts, the sync source is setup as
/contacts

In the access.log, i can see the phone is accessing rpc.php

x.x.x.x - - [09/Jun/2006:14:14:52 +0530] “POST /ccmanage/rpc.php
HTTP/1.1” 200 -

Inside the /tmp/sync folder i can see 3 files

syncml.packetnum
syncml_client_0.wbxml
syncml_server_0.wbxml

Any ideas why it won’t sync ?

Try setting your Sync Source as: ./contacts
That works on my Nokia 6600.

Firstly apologize for my english

I’ve got it working (partially) with a Nokia E60 (it should be similar to E61
and E70 models).

What I did was, eGW 1.2.102 in a PHP5 server (special issue for SyncML) and
apply the patch shown in:

With this patch, calendar syncs in both directions.

Contacts aparently sync because appears a “Sync Complete” message in the phone
but actually It just works only from Phone --> eGW
