Hi,
i’m having trouble running eGroupware in version 14.2. I’ve been using version
1.8 and upgraded by installing 14.2 from tarball and upgraded the PostgreSQL
database using the eGroupware setup. In version 1.8, I haven’t been using mail,
so no mail accounts exist. This apparently turns out to be a problem in version
14.2, since I’d liek to use ActiveSync, which seems to require mail accounts.
Moreover, the web interface fails at certain points, apparently also because to
mail accounts exist. I can’t configure mail accounts because both the mail
applications and the mail tab of settings refuse to work, the error message in
error log indicates that some PHP functions fail because no mail accounts can
be found in the database. The database egw_mailaccounts is indeed empty. So,
how can I get ActiveSync to work and the web interface to stop suddently
breaking down in the absence of mail accounts?
