The email module search field no longer works

Hello,
Since last night’s update (21.1.20220905), the search field of the email module no longer works and returns this error:
URL: /egroupware/json.php?menuaction=EGroupware\Api\Etemplate\Widget\Nextmatch::ajax_get_rows
It’s a docker install on an up-to-date stable Debian. The IMAP server is on the physical machine.
Am I the only one having this problem?

I find this in Docker Nginx logs :

Hi Sil.

Works for me in two installations with 3 mailserver.

If it is urgent, you can exchange the container back first:

Manual (container) update/downgrade in a Docker installation

Maybe you can copy a test installation?
Then @RalfBecker Ralf has to say something about it…

Hi Stephan,
Thanks for your help. It’s not urgent. I just want to know if it comes from my installation or from the update.
I roll back the docker image to 21.1.20220408 and the mail search field works again.

I found and fixed your problem:

some missed PHP 8.1 compatibilty fixes

To apply the fix you need to run the following on your host:

curl https://github.com/EGroupware/Imap_Client/commit/08fe784122c7a6afdaa11e57ad227ff010cb9efa.patch | docker exec -i egroupware patch -p1 -d /usr/share/egroupware/vendor/egroupware/imap-client
docker exec -it egroupware kill -s usr2 1

If that works you want to make it survive restarts by:

curl https://github.com/EGroupware/Imap_Client/commit/08fe784122c7a6afdaa11e57ad227ff010cb9efa.patch | docker exec -i egroupware patch -p1 -d /usr/share/egroupware-sources/vendor/egroupware/imap-client
