The invitation-to-all problem

hi,

I’m sure that other admins know this problem:

we have a global group in which every user is in and then they are also in subgroups of their departments.

If someone wants to invite someone from another department they navigate through the global group. Now of course from time to time they invite the whole global group and you can imagine how happy the people are.

Is it possible to prevent people from sending invitations to the whole group?
Are there other solutions to this problem?

Hi Hugo,

Yes there is a option for that:
1.) Enable: Admin->Calender->Site configuration->Require an ACL grant to invite other users and groups:
to “Groups: other users can always be invited, only groups require an invite grant.”

2.) Delete that Invite right on your Groupe, where all your members in and enable it, that that groups, you like to have it.
