I’m proud of everything we have accomplished, and you don’t need me to tell you how hard we’ve all worked. After all, our poll numbers are already up by 50 percent, and now we have a new development that will change the face of this race.
New York’s Governor is struggling daily with the burgeoning Moreland Commission scandal. It turns out he was the corrupting influence in his own anti-corruption campaign! In this moment, we have an unprecedented opportunity to win over hundreds of thousands of Democratic voters disaffected by Cuomo. I can remember no better opportunity to remake our party as a force to be reckoned with in statewide politics.
We are going to take advantage of this critical moment in a powerful effort that will take every single Green Party Member and Supporter.
On September 10th, 2014, we are going to launch and unprecedented $50,000 Social Media campaign that will reach every voter in the State, especially our hundreds of thousands of young supporters who are heavy users of the internet and social media. This indeed is our watershed moment. We will literally reach millions of potential voters.
