Hi Lazlo
What are you using for your email server?
I have to make a correction; the softwares are Thunderbird & Lightning, not sunbird as I wrote earlier
For the other features, such as address book and calendar, you establish those in EGW, then use Thunderbird to connect TO the EGW server using CalDAV and GroupDAV

Thanks. So after I install Egroupware I just link it to Thunderbird?
I agree the egroupware email interface is good but i don’t have a
lot of tie to tinker - need to work my business, not IT if
possible. Thanks for your help.
Lazlo
Hi Lazlo
I tinkered with T-Bird & EGW with very good results.
The TB extensions, such as Sunbird calendar and the address book
also play very well, although when I tried it, I had to play
with some settings.
The addressbook in EGW I find more appealing than the
addressbook in TB; an aesthetic issue more than a functional
one.
