I was wondering if there is a simple way to search for all timesheets
associated with a project and all its subfolders?
In the previous version of egroupware, if you selected a project, it
would display all the timesheets that were in that project as well as
all the sub projects.
In version 14.3.007, you are not able to select a project if there are
no timesheets that are associated with that project itself. As a result,
the parent project is hidden from the drop down list. If you add a dummy
timesheet entry to the parent project, it will display that entry but
not the subprojects that are associated with the project. You can also
select a project using the search function under the project selector,
but it also doesn’t display subprojects.
The problem with using the search function, is that it will usually get
more than you want… If you just search for project31, you would also
get project310, project311, etc.
Is there a way to select a project and show all subprojects as well?
This is a feature we use quite a lot and the users are missing the
functionality since we switched to the latest version of egroupware.
On a related note, shouldn’t an archived project not show up in the
dropdown list on the timesheet application?
Thanks in advance
