Timezone issue - eSync - Bug?

I have setup eGroupware with Timezone America/New_York (UTC-5). Everything works great within eGroupware.

During the sync the email timestamp was of by 6 hours. Calendar entries etc were all correct. After some major digging I found that the config.php in the activesync/inc directory contains a fixed timezone default Europe/Berlin. After changing the default timezone the emails were getting the correct timestamps.

Eg. by replacing the whole activesync/inc/config.php with the following:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/EGroupware/activesync/16.1/inc/config.php

Let me know if that fixes your problem (for newly synced mails of cause)?
