Tracking system: Configuration, Staff and ACL

Hi All !

Whikle playing with the Tracking system, i’ve found a strange problem:

If i change fron one label to another, nothing appear
Setup1T

Is enought to change a “Tracker Code” and return to the previous and the lists appear
Setup2

Same in ACL (for “All” Code)

Not only !!!

If i change a value in “Configuration” tab and save the change, all the flag in ACL label disappear (reset all permission) If i make change and save in ACL tab, all the parameter setup in “configuration” tab will reset to the default.

I hope is only my problem … Please can someone try the same ?

Hi,

Are you running the latest version of 17.1.20171130? Do you get anything relevant error in error log or javaScript console?

Hi Hadi.
i’m running in version 17.1.20171130, the latest.
Sorry but i’m not able to look in the log. Where can i find them?

I’m not shure but with older version (16.x), when i tried for the first time the tracking application, I had not noticed this problem … but i’m not shure.

I tried with differents clients, different browser ina different SO (winXP, Win7, win10)

Egroup work on a ubuntu server (16.04) virtual machine with latest updates

Hi Hadi !

I’ve found this log in apache directory.
Go to the end of file (8:11) there are some error relatively the problem (i think …)

Hi Pier,

Base on the error log you attached, I don’t see any error that could cause this phenomenon. The PHP warning (8:11) in the log is related to tracker priorities which I fixed it already. I can think of only one fix that we had after the last package which might be related and you may give it a try by replacing api/js/etemplate/et2_widget_selectbox.js with this version https://raw.githubusercontent.com/EGroupware/egroupware/fe5c7a51869f8ad2369715a299b36f7accaff4ab/api/js/etemplate/et2_widget_selectbox.js
Please note that if you have js minifying switched on in admin configuration then you need to switch it off to test since the file I sent you is not minified version.

We are planning to build new packages soon, including the above fix. Meanwhile, please give it try and let me know if that fixes the issue.

Thanks for your answer.
Today i made a new virtual machine (ubuntu 16.04.03) with standard setup apache 2 and php7.0
I installed a new egropware and all work fine !!!
So, now i know the problem in on my machine.
Now i think that the better solution is migrate the old EGW installation in the new machine.
but
It would been interesting to know why this problem was created.

Do you have any idea

OK !
Other elements
I restored the backup from the old installation and the problems prompt again. All two problem.
Now i think the problem is on a database or …
Before the restore of database i was unable to configure the interface aspect and the groups. In effect I’m a “log time user” and in the older installation i installed the extension to maniplulate the group and the interface.

The problems can be in the “longtime user” extension/application ?
