Trunk 1.9.018 - Filemanager in felamimail

Hi,

I’m not sure it is the right place to post this message but let’s try.

I’m testing trunk 1.9.018 revision 40239 and i noticed i am not able to add a file from filemanager while writing a message

Lets try.
It works for me. (At least I see it as attached file, and I think I will see it
as attachment within the outbox.)
Do you see any errors within the WebServers errorlog?
Could you be more specific about the problem?
Kind of try to describe what you do and where it seems to fail? Do you get some error message?

Hi,

I’m back on this subject after a few monthes. Sorry for the delay in responding.

To answer Klaus question, I haven’t noticed any error message in logs.

The thing is that i was able to reproduce this error on 1.8.004. I made a fresh install from scratch on a fresh ubuntu 12.04 server install and I still cannot attach files from filemanager while generating an email.

I can see that the files are attached in the email but it is not sent.

Attaching local files from my computer works properly.

Is there something I forgot to install on my server?

I did get another request on that reporting it for 1.8, and I am bound to look into that this week.
I cannot reproduce it in trunk but I can in 1.8 (community edition)

It works! I can now update to egw 1.8.004
