TTS Close Job

Hi,

I’m trying to upgrade from 1.0.0.008 to 1.2.106.

I’ve installed the files and copied the database and
everything seems to be working, except in TTS -
which we use for our helpdesk - there’s no option to
close jobs.

I’ve seen that this is a known problem ([ 1483758 ]
TTS ACL cannot work, ticket cannot be closed) but the
solution doesn’t make sense to me (what checkbox?,
where?).

I see TTS is to be retired and replaced by Tracker,
but this doesn’t seem to be available on the download
page, or am I missing something.

For now, I’d just like to get TTS working and then
evaluate Tracker.

Tracker is only part of > 1.3

There’s a migration-tool we used. Besides most of the tickets got a
"created 1.1.70" mostly everything worked fine. Dont know details
anymore, because we were “early adopters” and probably the
migration-tool changed

But tracker is much better and more flexible than TTS. The only thing
I’m hardly missing is a template-System for the mails created. The
hardcoded ones do not fit our needs, so I had to manipulate the source
in quiet a dirty way (done with hot needles we say in german, “mit der
heissen Nadel gestrickt”).

so could you close tickets (with hot needles or otherwise!).

yes (otherwise we wouldnt have to migrate, would we?)
Of course we could close tickets, but I am not aware of any problems
regarding this…

I had some hacks in it and in the end, it was more a myTTS as the
original, but closing tickets was nothing I remember.

just took a look, I even deleted my repositories, sorry.

Can anybody else help?

On 1.0, when I click on the Update “tab” in the
Trouble Ticket System I see:

Additional notes

Open / Closed

Update ticket state

Changing Open / Closed to Closed closes the ticket. On
1.2 I see:

Additional notes

Update ticket state

Consequently, I can’t close the ticket!!!

Leon,

Below your textbox you can select a new ticket state with radio buttons.
The available transitions can be modified as admin, and for each state
you can define if that’s an open or closed state.

Does that help you?
