Hi,

I’m going to put egroupware with tts in my company.
I’ll make some bug fixes/translation to it.

But I’ve some questions:

What kind of modifications could be integrated on 1.2 release? (bug
fixes, translations, improvements etc…) or should i have to put it on
HEAD?

I’ve posted a patch on SF Tracker (ID: 1475388) which is not integrated.
Is it because tts is orphaned?

Should i make improvement on actual tts or everybody is focusing on IWATS?

I’ve seen wiki pages about IWATS, is there any code out? or is it theory?

I would like to know about this as well as we are currently using TTS in
our company and if it’ll be depreciated it’d be nice if there’d be an
option to copy over TTS data to the new system w/o having to do anything
in the migration process manually.
what fixes do you intend to make/ did you make?

this is Cornelius’ decision

No, it’s because I haven’t seen it yet, and because my wedding is only
9 days ahead

The “= instead of ==” is indeed a bug, I’ll commit it asap.
Thanks for the PHPGW->EGW constant change, I’ll commit those too.

About the new part (

able to open/close all tickets with the edited state, and spreading
some brain-juice over the ACLs

-change pending in traker system:
update to acl system to assign ticket to a user insted of a group

-planning changes:
Add values for the two check boxes in states list.
Make “due date” use global preferences about date format.
escape \ in category liste my *‘SYSTEME D’INFORMATION’ becomes
’*SYSTEME D’INFORMATION’
Make history display full username
Make JS calendard work with IE
Make JS calendard’s icon work with ‘idots’ theme ( just copy
egroupware/phpgwapi/templates/default/images/datepopup.gif to
egroupware/phpgwapi/templates/idots/images/datepopup.gif )
File attachment.

and more if i find something wrong.

well it’d be nice if TTS will be depreciated/replaced otherwise a manual
migration is going to put people off …

It’d be nice to attach files and/or link to other modules (address book,

I’ll mention that something weird is happening when trying to access to
1.2 branch with my user (I get ‘connection refused’), but anonymous
works ok (and head is ok, too). Anyway, the translations are updated
(except a recent lithuanian file with few strings).

agreed, but when will the successor be available?
Also if we don’t want to put ‘normal’ users off then there should
definitely be a migration tool.

One question on my plan to solve problem of js calendar icon:
-One template (viewticket_details.tpl) use
src={image_location}/datepopup.gif (with
$GLOBALS[‘phpgw’]->template->set_var(‘image_location’, EGW_IMAGES_DIR)
in code )
-Other (newticket.tpl) use
src=/egroupware/phpgwapi/templates/default/images/datepopup.gif

which make icon don’t appear in viewticket_details when you’re on
"idiots" theme
I think use of EGW_IMAGES_DIR is the right thing (tell me if i’m wrong).

Could we have a copy of datepopup.gif in others themes?

why not just use the appropriate method for setting up the jscalendar,
that saves all the hassle. All other apps to it this way …

Euh… no :-/
The ACL issues have been fixed; it’s already in CVS!
I committed those changes a little over a week ago; as soon as eGW 1.2.101 is
out (the bugfix release), these fixes will be in there (see also the article
in the knowledgebase:
http://www.egroupware.org/specialpages/?page_name=knowledgebase&menuaction=phpbrain.uikb.view_article&art_id=32)

The ‘=’ vs ‘==’ was a bug indeed, but that check is removed completely (even
the function doesn’t exist anymore…).

I recently made a start on IWATS. It’s in a very early stage, but IWATS is
actually being built
There’s no release date set yet.

IWATS will come with a migration tool, but at this point I’m not sure what
format that will have. It might be something simple as a set of perl scripts,
but data migration is on the issue list.

the ACL system has been fixed
assignment is now made to a user i.s.o. a group

Planned features for IWATS include:

File upload
Integration in Projectmanager
to mention a few issues I’ve seen in this thread, but of course there will be

let me know when you have something working (preffably without using egw
cvs for everything but if needed i’ll install that)
I can definitely help testing / debugging
(I got a postgresql install to test it with but could also test on mysql i
guess)
