Two independent EGW1.8 at once

Hi,

I have installed the EGW1.8. It is running under it’s own virtual host
egw.domain.xx. It is our production version, that is used by users.

I would like to install the second copy of EGW on the same server. This
second version I would like to use to test our code before updating the
production version.
I prepared the second virtual host egw-test.domain.xx

What should I change in the EGW configuration files?

DocumentRoot /var/www/egw/

there is a symlink: /usr/share/egroupware -> /var/www/egw
there is a symlink: /var/lib/egroupware -> /home/egw

VirtualHost2
ServerName egw-test.domain.xx
DocumentRoot /var/www/egw-test/

links?
changes in /etc/apache2/conf.d/egroupware?
other changes in egw?

I know that there are no more updates. I need it because of testing our
scripts, that we develop to adapt egw to our needs.
I plan to upgrade to new egw, but till that time, we need some small
modifications in current version.

So please let me know, how to configure egw to run under second virtual
host independently.

Create a copy of the sources in second vhosts docroot, create a copy of
the database and that’s it.

And what about ‘/egroupware’ alias mapped to ‘/usr/share/egroupware’ in
the configuration '/etc/apache2/conf.d/egroupware.conf’
It is not needed to change it in some way?
