we will hold a webinar on our extended “CTI telephony integration in EGroupware 21.1” of the EPL version.

Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) describes functionalities in a software, in this case EGroupware, which supports users in organising telephone-based activities/tasks:
- Dialling from EGroupware
- Automatic opening of the contact/CRM view on call
- Busy indication in the status sidebar
- Phone calls in the calendar
In principle, many telephone systems, even old ones, can be more or less connected to EGroupware.
For a deep and feature-rich integration, however, cloud telephone systems are the best choice for technical reasons.
We have created a generic connection, but are particularly good with the offers of our partner Placetel and also use these ourselves.
