My system:
An up-to-date gentoo on an AMD64 server, running Apache2, PHP5 and mysql.
Current egroupware version: 1.0.0.009
I installed the new version 1.2 and began the upgrade procedure. The first
thing to do is to update my tables/records to 1.2.100. But before that, it
recommends to backup my database files. I try that and get the error:
backupdir ‘/outside/webserver/docroot/db_backup’ is not writeable by the
webserver*
No, of course not. I click the “re-check my installation” and fill out the
form with the proper directory which has the proper ownership and
permissions.
I click on “save.” It returns me to the “backup databases” page again with
no error messages. I try “upgrade” again. The same error recurs.
Any ideas/suggestions?
TIA!
Kirk
