Hi Mike,
thanks for your intention to make EGw better. I don’t tell an official
decision now, but I think the long-term plan for EGw should be to
integrate a common GUI framework (e.g. jQueryUI), so if your plans can
be easily achieved, just make some working code and send us a patch.
Maybe we can get some short-term improvement with that.
But don’t put too much work in that because I think sooner or later
these mini-tools will be replaced by something else.

The updated widget will allow for greater flexibility. I might try and
implement drag and drop, if easily possible?! I’d also like to see how
difficult it would be to manage IMAP folders within the widget…
