Upgrade 2rd party software egw1.6 --> egw1.8

Hi,

I have some 3rd party apps that worked perfectly under egroupware 1.6. However after I upgraded to 1.8, they don’t work any longer. Now I would like to modify the apps to work with v1.8. Is there some list of required changes when upgrading an app from v1.6 to v1.8?

So far all apps seem to work fine under v1.8, until I hit a button (“add”). Then I get a Permission Denied!!! message and I’m thrown back to the start-screen of egw. I guess it has something to do with the eTemplate stuff, but have no idea what to look for.Can someone give me some hints?

The usual stuff.
Check server logs. Trace program flow.
3rd party apps were written by someone else, so we have no idea what
happens when you click add.
