Hi, folks,
I have just upgraded the (eGW+CK-ERP) demo at,
http://ck-erp.org/egw/login.php to, eGW 1.6 pre1 + CK-ERP 0.29.1preview .
With this upgrade, a new module (ck-ac), Access Control, had been added
to the codebase. The module provides module access control and other
generic access restriction based on the users’ affiliation to access
category. The access control concept implemented within this modules is
modelled on those provided in phpgacl.
Inside the upgraded demo, six additional built-in users are added,
demo2/guest - Purchasing Manager
demo3/guest - Accounting Manager
demo14/guest - Sales Supervisor
demo15/guest - POS Clerk
demo16/guest - HR Executive
demo17/guest - Customer Services Supervisor
Best Regards,
CK
PS - If, in future, the new access control mechanism proves to be stable
and generic, the ‘read-only’ group feature will be deprecated.
