Can someone tell me if the following is possible?
I have two divisions (div-1 ; div-2) Each has its own groups (offices)
I would like to make a “firewall” between div-1 and div-2 so neither can see
the other in any part of EGW.
So horizontally, div-1 and div-2 will not know the other exists but
vertically, div-1 can see and interact with all groups assigned to it and
the same would be true for div-2.
Right now I have all offices (groups) built, with ACL rights for supervisors
to see specific groups, and all groups are visible (just not accessible
based on ACL).
So can I create separate “entities” that have their own hierarchy, and these
"entities" would not be able to see any other?

Group specific global categories exist in EPL, but not in community 1.8.
Thanks for any input

I suggest you have noncommittal call with our sales team. They can
inform you about the benefits and feature differences between EPL and 1.8.
