Vacation notice error

Hi,
I exported mysql database from 14.3 and imported in 16.1 new instalation.
Everything seems to work OK, except of vacation notice.
When I try to set vacation notice I got this error.

mail_ui::ajax_refreshVacationNotice4229 “Expected a command. Got something else.”, referer: http://testegw.svkul.cz/egroupware/index.php?cd=yes

I can’t get it to work. Can someone help me to solve this error please ?

Hi Luboš,

I would first flush all caches because vacation notice uses caching and there might be a chance that something stored wrong in cache. If that didn’t help, perhaps you need to put error log / maybe function backtrace in mail_ui: line 4228 and follow up that exception.

Let us know please if you find out more about it as it’s not reproducible by us it would be nice to find out the cause and kick the possible bug out. Thank you!

Hi,
flushing caches didn’t solve anything. I tried to put at the beginning of class.mail_ui.inc.php
this two lines of code.

ini_set(‘display_errors’, ‘On’);
error_reporting(E_ERROR | E_NOTICE);

And then after login in EGW I can see these errors in apache error log:

I use PHP 7 (according your recomendation for 16.1), and while I work in EGW there is also lot of "deprecated"statement in the error log.
One of them I eliminated. I replaced $digest = Auth_SASL::factory(‘digestmd5’); with $digest = (new Auth_SASL)->factory(‘digestmd5’); in ManageSieve.php . Auth_SASL::factory is deprecated.

Can you help me with any of above stated errors ?
