Hi Serge,
Ok, Thanks,
Has I am working with package installation, I suppose what I need to
do is to copy these files in my installation ?
My production is still a 1.8 system. Is it “save” to do an upgrade to
14.2 on a production machine, or can i best switch on virtual server
where in install a 14.2 and restore the database from the 1.8 ?
What is save?
Will you loose data: of cause not, thought common sense is to make a
database backup before!
Will your users like the new release, will they miss or not find some
features: no idea?
What can go wrong:
- Update 14.1 to 14.2 is unproblematic
- Update 14.1 changes a lot in mail app, that might lead to mail not
working right a way, after automatic update
Ralf

Serge

Hi Serge,
Hello,
I am testing egw 14.2 and have a simple question.
In infolog view, when there is a parent or a sub you can see a
small arrow
in the first column (equivalent to the zoom icone in 1.8)
When a click to the horizontal arrow I can see the sub’s, but when
I click
on the up arrow it does’nt happen anything.
How do i have to go back to the parent infolog ?
I remember we talked about that, when we removed the old InfoLog sub
view.
Plan was to add it to context menu, but it looks like we forgot to
add it.
I just implemented it:
