Hi,
it’s planned for the redesign of the whole vfs-system. The current vfs
class can only read and write whole files
Companies who want to financially support that that effort, are more
then welcome

Hi,
The WebDAV server is very powerful and useful to us and could also replace
the samba sharing system that we are using but there is a limitation in the
WebDAV server.
As it use the memory to store the temporary transfered data in uploads, for
instance if we want to upload a 200MB file the Apache will need 200+MB
memory.
The suggestion I want to give is to unless use memory to store the temporary
transfered data it could use a temporary filesystem file. Then we could
transfer much bigger files without use too much cpu memory.
It is easy to implement that or the WebDAV server need a big redesign?
Cheers.
