Weird shift with recurring appointment

EGW 1.6.xx

I have a regular appointment that’s scheduled from 1000-1400 every Saturday, that has been
in place for months, however for some reason starting with the appointment for this Saturday
March 17, it and all later occurences have switched to Sunday. This series of recurrences
ends on April 28

I checked the recurrence settings and they look correct, just like I set them up previously

repeat type: daily
end date: 2012/04/28
repeat days: Saturday
interval : 7

Opening any of the appointments that are now showing up on Sunday, all shows they are still
scheduled for Saturday.

What would cause this and what’s the best way to fix it?

Most likely update to the current version 1.8.002, as 1.6 had no real
timezone support and you probably changed to daylight saving time.

Ralf that was the first thing that came to mind. but no other appointments were shifted, just
this single recurring one. Also it was shifted a full 24 hours, not the 1 hour for the DST
change this past sunday. It also fell outside of the DST change window by about 8 hours. I
know one can commonly have problems with appointments that straddle the time
changeover period overnight, this happens with many calendaring systems, not just EGW.

I had planned to update to 1.8 a few weeks ago, but got too busy. Possibly this weekend,
Until I do the upgrade, would just dragging the appointment to the correct location starting
with the first incorrect instance fix it, or just cause more issues?
