Hello Frédéric!
Great that you join the developer team. Welcome!
Also great that you will enhance the project manager. I had the idea to
anhance eGroupware to allow for a task board (SCRUM / Kanban) and did
some investigations on that, but then I missed significant time to
complete the task.
But maybe sometime, I may continue - I would keep you informaed.
So, welcome aboard and maybe meet you sometime.
Hans-Jürgen
Hi all !
I am so glad to join such a dynamic project !
Thank you all for your welcome messages
Here are a few words about myself
I came across egroupware 4-5 years ago while I was looking for a
collaborative plateform for project management in the context of
multipartenarial and collaborative projects for innovation breakthrough.
Egroupware won my benchmark (and it did again 6 month ago when I reviewed
quite many solutions for these projects)
All along theses years, I have set up and animated egroupware community
instances in projects. I have patched them and I have maintained a personnal
and updated branch of egroupware with the qualinnove extensions that had
been made by CRP Henri Tudor (Luxembourg) on top of 1.4.002 version.
The main usage of egroupware I recommend in the project teams I work with
goes through the project manager, all info are related to projects and
project elements.
This explains easily why my first suggested patches go around ProjectManager
My next big project as egroupware developper is to make a dashboard app to
support piloting project and steering committee reviews of project
portfolio.
For this I will wait for etemplate2 release (from recommandation of Ralf)
I will also try to contribute solving bugs that come in the list.
Finally, I can mention I am also known as skyfredox and inforgetics (the
name of my small company)
and I wish to promote egroupware in the French speaking community and will
probably backup Stylite Team when request needs a french speaking
correspondant
Hope to meet you soon
Frédéric
