There is Blue Erp too as a financial application

build upon a strong object model and CRUD framework.
The truth is that currently egroupware is not really a framework for
developping applications but an integrated solution, and as such the project
is not really organised that way and does not promote much 3rd party
applications. Because it is an integrated solution 3rd party applications
can be ‘awkward’ to develop, I hope future versions of egw will make this
more easy.
