Wrong entry in table egw_preferences - Access to Calender of 2Cr1 denied

I want to give some more details to the problem
described in egroupware-german message

I think this is a bug in the calender modul - that’s why I posted it in egroupware-developers.
Hopefully this is correct and the right way to address a potentially bug.

eGroupware Version:
1.6.001

Problem Description:
Only one user of the system became the error "Access denied to the calendar of #0%2Cr1 !!!"
in the calenter view, doesn’t matter what filter or user account was selected.

Problem Solution:
The problem came from a wrong entry in the
table: egw_preferences field:preference_value
Here is the wrong entry:
a:4:{s:15:“defaultcalendar”;s:3:“day”;s:16:“days_in_weekview”;s:1:“5”;s:15:“receive_updates”;s:10:“add_cancel”;s:12:“saved_states”;s:47:“a:1:{s:5:“owner”;s:17:“0%2Cr1,0%2Cr1,-11”;}”;}

Solution was to delete the wrong entry:
Here is the entry after deleting the wrong value:
a:4:{s:15:“defaultcalendar”;s:3:“day”;s:16:“days_in_weekview”;s:1:“5”;s:15:“receive_updates”;s:10:“add_cancel”;s:12:“saved_states”;s:47:“a:1:{s:5:“owner”;s:17:”-11";}";}

To the developers:
We don’t know what led to the wrong entry.
Because this table is not accessable via the web interface we think this is a bug in the calender modul.
Unfortunately we can not further isolate the error for you
If you need some more information or further testing please post this in this here.

Hi Ralf,

that seems to be caused by a new feature in the 1.6 calendar: calendar
stores the last showed calendar. If that was a calendar from multiple
resources (and you log out immediately), you get that prefs.

Hi,

maybe we should make an integrity check of the value getting stored
before it gets stored. I never did anything with ressources in
calendar, so I am personally just aware of int values (positive and
negative) for this.

Hi Christian,

I just checked the following situations:

• 2 users
• 2 users and 2 resources
• 2 resources

I always selected a week-view with the given users, logged off and in
again. I gave no problems in any of the 3 cases.

Maybe the problem happens only if you delete the user or resource, a
user displayed the last time …
