EGroupware disabling/removing apps completely

Hi there, I’ve setup EGroupware (docker) primarily for its mail application (egroupware-mail). as my users won’t be using most of the other applications, I have already uninstalled what wasn’t needed from the setup, even after removing the apps, email compose still shows the “InfoLog” button, the “save to filemanager” option for emails with attachments & “tracking system”, “calendar” dialogs under more.

what i did

uninstalled applications from setup
docker-compose stop
docker-compose up --detach

Hi Abhimanyu.

Please do not uninstall anything.
Take away the users’ execution rights for the applications you do not need:

Yes, but that’s exactly what i did, before uninstalling the apps. forgot to mention that.

Ah, ok.
I can reproduce that.

I’ll see what we can do about that.

So far, most people use the other modules or have moved the menu items to the More menu.

OK thanks, so how do i move those menu items into the More menu ?, and how can is disable the "mail menu " for regular users. 2021_04_26_0m8_Kleki

I want to setup a clean email app, absent from elements belonging to other unused stuff, don’t want users to tamper with things which would just confuse them.

Is there a complete manual i could refer to, the egroupware website has no document section.

Hi Abhimanyu.

You Can not.

Unless you fork EGroupware and program your own version. Then you have all the freedom/possibilities.

You can already configure a lot in EGroupware, but at some point it’s over.
We want to offer software that provides good functions. Not one that can’t do anything.
