How to open multiple tabs in eGroupware

Hello,

I am trying to change the egroupware code to allow me to open several tabs of the same application.
anyone knows how to make it work ?

Hi Moujahid,

The short answer to this question is “No”. You can not open same application in multiple tabs with our current framework (if you are interested in more details of how tabs work in framework please take a look at https://github.com/EGroupware/egroupware/blob/master/api/js/framework/fw_base.js).

Anyways, why would you like to do that? Is there any particular feature that you want to achieve that you can not do it with single tab?

hi Hadi,

i guess it about the performance!

In an older version …i guess until 1.8.x it was possible!
Now switching between the tabs “inside” egw it´s far away from the same behavior.
Because it´s loading the content again… and takes a lot of time!
