New Softaculous install problems

Hi there

We registered a domain specifically to service our international Teams, and have installed EGroupware via the cPanel Softaculous app installer, but it doesn’t run!

New users cannot attach the screenshots, but I have these errors:
1)
A request to the EGroupware server returned with an error: OK (200)
Please reload the EGroupware desktop (F5 / Cmd+r).
If the error persists, contact your administrator for help and ask to check the error-log of the webserver.

I am sitting at a screen with modules at the top and the left and nothing loads. I have no clue what to do next. (I am not a sys admin or IT professional, I am a Graphic Designer, front-end web-developer volunteer on this project.)

Hi Ivan.

First of all:
Softaculous builds its own installers. This has nothing to do with the standard installation we offer.
Therefore, we have practically no knowledge about the installation, do not have a cPanel/Softaculous ourselves and can therefore only help to a limited extent.

cPanel/Softaculous also only installs EGroupware without any additional functions. In particular, the push technology is (presumably) not included (also no Rocket.Chat, Collabora Online, …).

If that is enough, it is of course OK.

I found the solution, I had to Google Translate it:

Fehler nach Login

EGroupware requires PHP 7.2, (our cPanel comes with PHP 7.4 as default)

It is working now!

But I will upload the screenshots that I took for your reference.

Almost right …

But:
In the current version we should support 7.4 completely:

Release 20.1.20210324 · EGroupware/egroupware

We ourselves currently use 7.3.x in the Docker containers we deliver for 20.1.
In the current 21.1 pre-release we use 7.4:

Releases · EGroupware/egroupware

I have already been working with it for a few weeks.

So you could try to switch to 7.4 once Softacoulus has released the latest version.
