Drag and drop mail and infolog entry in a specific project

Hi All,
I am trying to drag email and infolog records into a project. EGW don’t gives error but in fact does not allow the link. Am I wrong or does EGW allow this operation ? It would be very useful to be able to drag and drop incoming emails directly into a project. Currently it seems to me that it is only possible to link via drag and drop an email to a record in infolog. Correct ? Thanks in advance Gabriele

Hi Gabriele.

This is not directly possible.

For received mails, you can drag the InfoLog icon into the bar, click on it and enter the project directly => save.

For sent mails, you can also drag the InfoLog into the bar and ‘switch it on’ before sending. Then the InfoLog window opens directly after sending (…).

This way you can operate any project and do not have to have the project open.

I do not understand what you mean by ‘For received mails, you can drag the InfoLog icon into the bar’. I would be grateful if you could send me an image or more details.

I meant dragging the InfoLog icon into the bar, if you don’t already have it:

Then you only need one click, enter the project and save it.
