It seems impossible to create a new group with eGroupWare:
(Images says something like:
« Error in Database »
« Error when saving account. »
« /usr/shar/egroupware/admin/inc/class.admin_cmd_edit_group.inc.php (109) »
)
Surprisingly enough: once group is generated in LDAP, it is possible to modify group (name, add users to it).
Is it expected behavior for eGroupWare 23.1 NON EPL edition ?
More information on installation:
- version: 23.1.20230524 (update from version: 20.0.1)
- installation type: docker, with
docker-compose.yml
file
- Module Admin, group part
- Error occurs after upgrade and after removal of groups module from setup and from docker volume (as indicated in this forum entry)
- Error is triggered by action of adding a new group (right-clic on Groups, then menu entry add a group)
- Error message in logs (with rewritten sensible data):
PHP message: EGroupware\Api\Accounts\Ldap::save() ldap_add(,'cn=probesys_test, ou=Groups,dc=XXX,dc=XXX',Array([objectclass] => Array([0] => top[1] => posixgroup)[gidnumber] => 2411[cn] => probesys_test[description] => Array()[memberuid] => Array([0] => probesys.externe))) --> ldap_error()=Protocol error
- Database used is egroupware-db docker service (MariaDB docker image)
- Web server used is egroupware-nginx docker service (Nginx docker image)
